Romie White: Bolst Is Opening in Woodstock, and She's Leading It
Bolst is opening a new office in Woodstock, and Romie White is leading it. This episode kicks off a broker series on the show, and Romie brings a resume that spans nearly every model in the industry, from Atlanta's oldest luxury brokerage to building a tech forward brand from the ground up with Zillow.
Four Pillars, Built From Hundreds of Conversations
Before choosing Bolst, Romie sat through hundreds of interviews with agents from every kind of brokerage. She noticed the same themes surfacing again and again, and distilled them into four pillars she now uses to evaluate any brokerage: agent first philosophy, community impact, technology, and transparency.
Why Community Impact Came First
Romie points to Bolst becoming a certified B Corp, the first brokerage in Georgia to do so, as one of the key factors in her decision. For her, it traces back to why she got into real estate in the first place: helping someone find their forever home is one of the most impactful purchases a person makes, and she wanted to be part of a brokerage that treats that responsibility seriously. The B Corp certification isn't just a claim of giving back, it's an outside accountability structure that requires a brokerage to keep proving it.
What Agent First Actually Means
Romie defines the purpose of a brokerage simply: to serve the agent. Every system, tool, and program should make an agent's business easier, not harder. She's clear that this shows up concretely in Bolst's rev share model, which returns money directly to agents for the two things that help the brokerage most, selling houses and referring other agents, rather than funneling it elsewhere.
Technology That Removes Tasks Instead of Adding Them
Romie has spent more time around real estate technology than most people in the industry, and her filter for good tech is simple: does it save time, or does it create another task. Technology isn't meant to replace agents, it's meant to free them up for the part of the job that actually matters, relationships. She points to AI powered design tools as a recent example, tools that let an agent generate polished, property specific marketing materials in minutes, something that used to require a full marketing department and much more time.
Why Woodstock
Romie calls Woodstock a Goldilocks community, small town character with big city convenience, and points to the pace of new development and construction as proof it's only accelerating. It's also deeply connected to the surrounding areas, East Cobb, Marietta, Roswell, and Canton, which makes it a natural hub for agents who want both a strong local identity and a wide radius of opportunity.
Romie's Woodstock Top Five
Rooftop restaurants, especially the ones with heating and cooling for Atlanta summers
Outdoor spaces and trails, fully interconnected across the community
Wine Down Wednesday, a midweek gathering with live music and half price wine
The Saturday Farmers Market, her personal number one, full community, dogs included
Community events, from the summer concert series to fall pumpkin patches and scarecrow contests between local businesses
If you're an agent living in Woodstock or the surrounding communities and thinking about what's next, this episode is a good place to start.
