Meet Player

Player is the organizational powerhouse that ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From managing the team’s processes to researching solutions for complex challenges, Player’s detail-oriented approach and relentless curiosity make her an invaluable member of the team.

A Charleston native who moved to Atlanta after graduating from Furman University, Player’s curiosity drives her to dig deep and find answers to even the most difficult questions. Whether it’s market trends, property specifics, or creative solutions for clients, Player’s ability to find the right answers quickly and efficiently helps make the entire buying and selling process easier for everyone involved.

Outside of work, Player’s love for reading is one of her greatest passions. An early riser, she starts each day with a cup of coffee in hand, settling down to read for a couple of hours as the sun rises. This quiet, reflective time allows her to immerse herself in the world of books, setting the tone for the day ahead.

Player’s reading interests span a broad range of genres, but Toni Morrison holds a special place in her heart. She’s deeply inspired by Morrison’s ability to use imagination to transport readers into the minds and experiences of others, creating worlds that feel rich, complex, and full of humanity. Morrison’s works, with their powerful narratives and historical depth, resonate with Player’s own appreciation for history and its ability to shape the present. Morrison’s writing offers more than just storytelling—it’s an exploration of human nature, memory, and identity, which Player finds profoundly moving and inspiring.

In addition to Morrison, Player enjoys reading a variety of genres, including biographieshistoryhistorical fiction, and fiction. She’s particularly drawn to books that offer insight into the human experience, often seeking stories that blend personal narratives with broader historical events. Recent reads include James by Percival Everett, a novel that combines powerful storytelling with a reflective look at culture and identity, and Second-Hand Time by Svetlana Alexievich, a poignant oral history of post-Soviet life that provides deep emotional insight. She’s also been captivated by The Passenger by Cormac McCarthy, which Player finds hauntingly beautiful in its sparse, poetic prose.

As a lover of literary exploration, Player revisits the works of Truman Capote, whose rich characterizations and gripping stories continue to captivate her. Other favorite authors include Maggie O’Farrell, known for her emotional depth and intricate plots, Paul Murray, whose writing blends wit and heart, and Claire Keegan, whose eloquent, spare prose captures the quiet complexities of human relationships.

In addition to her love of reading, Player’s daily routine includes yoga at Anurati Yoga, a local studio in Avondale Estates. She’s been practicing for about a year now and has noticed significant improvements in both her physical mobility and mental clarity. The practice has helped her strengthen her body, reduce stress, and stay connected with a wonderful community of fellow yogis. The quiet space at Anurati Yoga, with its calming atmosphere and supportive instructors, has become a sanctuary where Player can focus on her well-being and balance the demands of work and life.

When she’s not reading or practicing yoga, Player enjoys spending time with her partner and two sons in Avondale Estates, where you can often find her hanging out at one of the local breweries.
